Jerry Simonsen has more than 30 years of dialysis industry experience in finance, reimbursement, ESRD Medicare cost reporting, nephrology practice management, operations, dialysis organizational startup, mergers, acquisitions and strategic planning for more than 150 free-standing and hospital-based dialysis clinics. Mr. Simonsen has international experience in Middle East and Central American strategic planning and development. Mr. Simonsen was the founder, Chief Executive Officer and President of Renal Management Inc., the largest privately-owned dialysis provider when acquired in 2001.
Dr. Leslie Shu-Tung Fang is a world-renowned physician, educator, businessman and speaker with an impressive roster of accomplishments and awards. Board certified in Nephrology and Internal Medicine, Dr. Fang received his PhD in Physiology and Biophysics from the University of Illinois and his Doctorate of Medicine from Harvard Medical School. Dr. Fang formerly served as Assistant Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and served on the Board of Directors of Physicians Dialysis, Inc. Dr. Fang also served as Medical Director of the Renal Management, Inc. program at Massachusetts General Hospital.
Jo Ann Otts has more than 25 years of dialysis industry experience in strategic planning, operational leadership, labor reorganization, regulatory compliance, cost containment, nephrology nursing leadership and achieving financial goals for organizations. Mrs. Otts served as Vice President of Operations of Renal Management, Inc. and is a former President of the National Kidney Foundation Council of Nurses and Technicians.
Daniel Smith has more than 30 years of dialysis industry experience including building robust systems for dialysis operations nationwide. Mr. Smith was formerly Chief Information Officer of Renal Management Inc. and Vice President of Business Development for Renal Ventures Management. Prior to this Mr. Smith worked in engineering, medical device sales and worldwide project management for COBE Laboratories, a subsidiary of Gambro.
